Online Help in graphing equations

Friends TutorVista is the Online service provider. It is basically an educational website which helps you in learning complex and new concepts of the mathematical world. This educational website or service provider is especially designed to help those students who find difficulty in solving maths questions.

Friends today we all are going to learn the basic concept behind Linear Inequalities and How to Solve Inequalities. Firstly we need to understand is What does Inequality means in Maths? An inequality tells that two values are not equal. For example a ≠ b shows that a is not equal to b. A linear inequality is describes an area of the coordinate plane that has a boundary line. In simple way in linear inequalities everything is on one side of a line on a graph.

In mathematics, a linear inequality is an inequality which involves a linear function. For solving inequalities, we need to learn the symbols of inequalities like the symbol < means less than and the symbol > means greater than and the symbol ≦ or ≤ less than or equal to etc.

Graphing equations comes with a large number of complexities which may cause lots of problem to the user or student. Lets see one example of Linear Inequality graph. To solve a linear inequality problem is to write the inequalities in a slope intercept form or in the form of y = mx + b. Now the next stage is to temporarily exchange the inequality symbol for the equal symbol. For example y <= -x + 2 becomes y = -x + 2 after exchanging the symbol. Now use different values for x to find points that will be graphed in the form (x,y).

like when x=3, y = -1 and when y = 3 x = -1

At last we need to draw lines on the graph using these above values. Point slope refers to a method of graphing a linear equation on x-y axis.

Graphing Linear Inequality

Friends if you find difficulty in solving mathematical problems or afraid of maths, then you don't need to worry. You must have heard about Online tutoring service provider TutorVista. It is an educational website which helps you in learning mathematical concepts and removes your mathematical obstacles. It is especially designed to help students who finds difficulties in mathematics and it also helps in scoring high marks in mathematics.

Today we all are going to learn about the basic concept behind Inequality. An inequality tells that two values are not equal. For example a ≠ b shows that a is not equal to b. A linear inequality describes an area of the coordinate plane that has a boundary line. In simple way in linear inequality graphs everything is on one side of a line on a graph.

In mathematics a linear inequality is an inequality which involves a linear function. To solve Inequalities we must remember the symbols showing inequalities like the symbol < means less than and the symbol > means greater than and the symbol ≦ or ≤ less than or equal to etc.

Slope formula plays an important role in graphing linear inequalities. So we need to know what slope formula means. Slope of a line describes the steepness, incline or grade of the straight line. Let's take an example to understand the linear inequalities:

Example: -8 < 2x - 4 < 16

add 4 to all 3 parts

-4 < 2x < 20

divide 2 from all 3 parts

-2 < x < 10

To graph the following equation, you put an open circle or we can say mark it by a dot on the point

(-2,0) and then you put an open circle on the point (10,0).Then draw a line between the two.

Learn how to graph the equations with my help

Hello friends, you all must have heard the name of tutorvista. Ya friends, its an educational website that helps you in learning mathematics and other subjects. Tutorvista Is designed to help the students who are math phobic or are facing any kind of problem while solving math questions. Mathematics is a subject that needs lots of practice.

Now, we will discuss few topics of math that Is linear inequalities and graphing equations. Before we move on linear inequalities, lets throw some light on inequalities. To understand inequalities we need to understand few symbols that shows the inequality in the equation. The symbols are greater then(>), less than(<), greater than equal to (>=), less than equal to(<=). You all are aware with linear equations, linear inequalities are also same.

Let's take an example to understand this topic as students understand the things with help of examples in a proper way.

3x + 3>= 9,

As we are seeing inequality symbol. Here this is an inequality problem. To solve this problem we put the value of x in such order that when we get final answer it should b either greater than or equal to 9. in this we can put x = 2 as it will give us

3x2+ 3>=9

6+3>=9,

9=9

so x can be 2 and the greater values then two.

Now, graphing equation is a method of plotting the equation on graph. Graph is a simple and easy way to understand different problems. When we plot equation on graph easily understand that what is the value of x or y and other things also. Friends, I can't show you here how to plot equation on graph, but I assure you that when you take help of

TutorVista, you will learn how to plot it and how to solve equations using graphing equation method.

Tutor Vista helps you in learning Linear Inequalities

Hello friends, in this page I will tell you few things about linear inequalities and graphing equations. Inequality includes few symbols like less then(<), greater then(>), less then equal to (<=), greater then(>=). So whenever you see any equation with these signs then understand that it is an inequality equation. Solving linear inequalities is similar to solving linear equations, but one thing that is important and you just keep this in mind that whenever we multiply or divide by a negative number, you must change the direction of the inequality sign.

For example: - x + 2< 6

In this, we have to determine the value of x, that when added with 2 should less then 6, so we can take x= 1,2,3. when we solve inequalities we may have more then one solution of problem and sometimes infinite number of solution are also possible. The solution must give result as true, result can't be false.

Graphs are the important part of algebra, and graph gives us huge amount of information. It helps us to understand the problem properly. And plotting the graph is also very easy. Graphing equations means represent the equation on graph. A linear equation when plotted on graph produces a straight line. These equations contain terms that are either a constant of the product of constant term and a single variable the very first power. Here, I can't show you how to plot graph but I assure you that when you visit tutor vista for learning how to graph equation and different math topics you will understand all the concepts and here, you find a lot of examples which will help you in solving different problems. Tutor vista helps students as their friend and takes all their pain of solving math problems.
